Sonya's professional background began in the restaurant business and eventually found her in the glamorous and chaotic world of NYC interior design. The daughter of a chef, she has always had a great passion for food. As a girl she would travel to local organic farms with her father, procuring seasonal produce that would end up on his menus. Growing up in a farm to table restaurant, healthy, wholesome, natural food has always been central to her daily life; the ethos of "food as medicine" a lifelong pursuit.
Sonya brings this passion for healthy food along with strong leadership qualities and administrative know-how to Yin Yang.
She spends her free time cooking, always expanding her culinary repertoire - playing drums, writing, practicing yoga, attending lectures or relaxing with her giant ginger cat, The Chairman.
