Senior Territory Manager: Northern California


We are seeking a positive, motivated, and detail-oriented Senior Territory Manager to lead our Northern CA region in all aspects.

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Senior Territory Managers strategically manage relationships with their teams, our principals, and regional retail and distributor partners in order to achieve organizational objectives. They lead the charge in making our partners raving fans.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Lead, coach, and develop NorCal team members to ensure they are continuously learning, improving, and contributing to the overall goals of YYN.
2. Be an expert in the lines YYN represents in NorCal. Know their business as well as they do.
3. Develop and execute strategic plans for our principals to increase sales and strengthen their brands. This includes branding/positioning recommendations, promotional strategy, channel strategy, growth strategy.
4. Maintain awareness of, and report on, efforts by our principals’ competitors in regards to: new items, pricing, packaging, strategic direction, etc.
5. Be the secondary point of contact for Key Retailers; help Territory Managers grow and strengthen their relationships with buyers.
6. Collaborate with YYN leadership team to generate ideas for growing our principals’ business and make suggestions for improvement.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.

  • At least three years sales management experience.

  • Requires persistence, consistency, and ability to meet regional sales objectives.

  • Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Proficient with technology and capable of learning new skills quickly. 

  • Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a working vehicle and be able to travel independently.

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. independently. 

  • Office days require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
